Self Service Airport Security Check

Airport Security Self Service Locker Scan System

Airport Security Check

Qylatron is a self-service locker system that uses machine learning software to carefully scan carry-on items at TSA check points

During the holiday season TSA screens about two million travelers, so it’s no wonder that wait times can be long. There are new apps like BlipTrack  that gives users real time information on wait times. Now, Qylatron could eliminate long wait times at airport security check points with a smart self-service scanning locker system.

The Qylatron was created by Qylur an artificial intelligence, systems engineering and security company. Airline passengers scan their ticket, place carry-on luggage and other items inside a Qylatron locker and walk through a body scanner. Qylatron uses a machine learning based system with x-ray, radiation and chemical screening to scan passengers and carry-on items. When a problem is detected, Qylatron alerts TSA officers, otherwise passengers retrieve their belongings and proceed to the gate for boarding. The Qylatron system handles about 600 passengers per hour, providing a safer and more efficient airport security check point process. Qylatron is also being used at large scale commercial venues like sports stadiums. Check out the video below.
