    I thought most streetlights  use solar power?  It make sense since they are outside all the time why not harness the energy of the sun?I know on my many travels on I-95 the lights on side of roads,  I believe use solar power.

    Our street lights are electric and many of them are very old and many times our street lights don’t even work.
