I had dream on Aug 18th and 19thI heard a door bell ring extra loud on the 18th and loud on the 19th:

Dreaming that you hear or ring a door bell indicates that you are open to new experiences. The dream may also be calling attention to something that you have overlooked. Perhaps you do not yet realize that an opportunity is open to you.  Hearing a strange noise in your dream means the unexpected and the unknown. You may be expressing some fear or confusion concerning a particular situation in your waking life. The noise in your dream may serve as a way to attract your attention to that issue. Alternatively, noise may represent a breakthrough in your personal struggles. Perhaps you have burst through a barrier of resistance which had been holding you back for a long time.

I had dream on Sept 13th:   I heard a telephone ringing.

Seeing or hearing a telephone in your dream means a message from your unconscious or some sort of telepathic communication.

I had dream on Sept 15thI’m standing in front of a door in the basement, it opens (or I open it) and a friendly dog (Italian Greyhound – gray) trots through it.

Seeing an opening in your dream means a new influence or new-found inspiration entering your life. Dreaming that you are opening something, suggests that you are unleashing your potential. It may also mean new opportunities.  Dreaming that you are in a basement, symbolizes your unconscious mind and intuition. The appearance of the basement is an indication of your unconscious state of mind and level of satisfaction.

I had a dream Sept 16th:  I found some money in my black purse inside the zippered pocket.

Seeing or winning money in your dream, symbolizes that success and prosperity is within your reach. Money may represent confidence, self-worth, success, or values. You have much belief in yourself. Alternatively, dreaming about money refers to your attitudes about love and matters of the heart. It is frequently a symbol for sexuality and power. In particular, finding money indicates your quest for love or for power.  Seeing a zipper in your dream implies sexuality and innuendos.  Seeing a pocket in your dream represents hidden talents and undeveloped abilities. You have not utilized your strengths to the fullest potential.

Black:  Unhappiness. A rough road ahead. Something that the dreamer needs to know. In extreme cases, a death—BUT THE DREAMER’S DEATH IS NEVER SHOWN.

Astrological parallel: Scorpio.

I had a dream on Sept 16thI was in a mansion watching children play in a large swimming pool.

Seeing children in your dream means your own childlike qualities or a retreat back to a childlike state. It is an extension of your inner child during a time of innocence, purity, simplicity, and a carefree attitude. You may be longing for the past and the chance to satisfy repressed desires and unfulfilled hopes. Take some time off and cater to the inner child within. Perhaps there is something that you need to see grow and nurtured.  Dreaming that you are watching children but they do not know you are there is a metaphor for some hidden knowledge or some latent talent which you have failed to recognize.  Seeing a mansion in your dream, symbolizes your greatest potential and growth. You may feel that your current situation or relationship is in a rut.

1. If the dreamer is drinking water, this is a symbol for enjoying life. If the dreamer is at presently in bad circumstances, dreaming of drinking water implies that good times are ahead.

2. Clear, calm water portends happiness, while river rapids or crashing surf implies rough times on the horizon.

3. A waterfall, particularly if there is also a rainbow in the dream, indicates success, happiness, and wealth coming into the dreamer’s life.

Astrological parallel: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces.

I had dream on Sept 20thI saw a woman come through a door and she was eating popcorn out of a container.

Seeing a woman in your dream represents nurturance, passivity, caring nature, and love. It refers to your own female aspects or may also represent your mother. Alternatively, it may indicate temptation and guilt.  Seeing popcorn in your dream, suggests that you are full of ideas. It may also indicate that certain truths/facts are being made aware to you. Dreaming that you are seeing or eating alone means loss, loneliness, and depression. You may feel rejected, excluded, and cut off from social/family ties. Eating may be a replacement for companionship and provide comfort for you. Alternatively, seeing or eating alone may reflect independent needs. Also consider the pun, “what’s seeing or eating you up?” in reference to anxiety that you may be feeling.  Food can represent love, friendship, ambition, sex or pleasure in your life. Thus, food is seen as a metaphor to fulfill and gratify our hunger of love and desires.  Dreaming that you are entering through a door means new opportunities that will be presented before you. You are entering into a new stage in your life and moving from one level of consciousness to another. In particular, a door that opens to the outside means your need to be more accessible to others.

I had dream on Sept 22ndI was in someone’s house holding a newborn baby (a very small baby) in a purple gown.  A lady with long purple nails tried to pull the baby away from me (to play with it – give it a horsy back ride) but I didn’t let her (I pulled the baby back).  Later, I allowed another lady to hold the baby, but she gave it to the lady with the purple nails and she dropped the baby and the baby looked dead.

Dreaming of a baby in your dream means innocence, warmth and new beginnings. Babies may symbolize something in your own inner nature which is pure, vulnerable, and/or uncorrupted.  Dreaming of an extremely small baby, symbolizes your helplessness and your fears of letting others become aware of your vulnerabilities and incompetence. You may be afraid to ask for help and as a result tend to take matters into your own hands. Dreaming of a dead baby symbolizes the ending of something that is part of you.  Dreaming that you are pulling something indicates your struggles with getting things accomplished. It may represent your responsibilities, relationships, or situations which you should unload and/or let go. Consider what or who you are pulling.

1. Spirituality.

2. Status in one’s own circle.

3. Increased social life, or the desire for same.

1. A new world, a new life, promising new enterprises.

2. Youth, innocence.

3. An upcoming birth in the dreamer’s immediate circle.

Astrological parallel: Leo.

I had dream on Sept 26thThree women stepped in front of me and were staring at me.

Seeing a woman in your dream represents nurturance, passivity, caring nature, and love. It refers to your own female aspects or may also represent your mother. Alternatively, it may indicate temptation and guilt. If you know the woman, then it may symbolize the concerns and feelings you have about her. Seeing an old woman in your dream indicates aging and growing old. Seeing a group of women talking in your dream refers to some gossip.

I had a dream on Sept 28thI was sitting in my living room talking with a male friend, when my deceased sister Paula walked in wearing a beautiful strapless white gown with ruffled details at the bottom, a long slit on the right side and a matching shawl.  She modeled the dress as we marveled at her beauty.

I went to the closet and got a dress that I’d recently been gifted that was almost identical to her dress.  It was mint green with a long slit (no ruffles) with a matching silk chiffon duster.  I took the dress out of the plastic bag while explaining that it’s a Franklin Rowe design.  My friend asked, “who is he” and I said, “Franklin Rowe is an African American designer.”  Later, me and my sister stood in front of the full length mirror wearing our dresses, smiling at each other.

Seeing the dead in your dream, forewarns that you are being influenced by negative people and are hanging around the wrong crowd. You may suffer material loss. This dream may also be a way for you to resolve your feelings with those who have passed on. If you dream of a person who has died a long time ago, then it suggests that a current situation or relationship in you life resembles the quality of that deceased person. The dream may depict how you need to let this situation or relationship die and end it. Seeing and talking with your dead parents in your dreams, represents your fears of losing them or your way of coping with the loss. You may want that last opportunity to say your final good-byes to them. Seeing your dead sibling, relative, or friend alive in your dream indicates that you miss them and are trying to relive your old experiences you had with them. In trying to keep up with the pace of your daily waking life, you dreams may serve as your only outlet in coping and coming to terms with the loss of a loved one.

Seeing your sister in your dream, symbolizes some aspect of your relationship with her, whether it one of sibling rivalry, caring, protectiveness, etc.  Your sister may draw attention to your family role and sense of belonging.  It may also serve to remind you that someone in your waking life has characteristics similar to your sister.  Alternatively, your sister may be a metaphor and actually refer to a nun.  In this case, she may represent spiritual issues.  If you do not have a sister and dream that you have one, then it means some qualities that you need to activate or acknowledge within your own self.  Pay attention to the actions and behavior of your dream sister.  Seeing or wearing a dress in your dream, represents a feminine outlook or feminine perspective on a situation. You are freely expressing your femininity. Dreaming that you are wearing a white dress, suggests that you want to appear pure and angelic toward others.  A symbol of purity (2 Chr. 5:12; Ps. 51:7; Isa. 1:18; Rev. 3:18; 7:14). Our Lord, at his transfiguration, appeared in raiment “white as the light” (Matt. 17:2, etc.).  Seeing a man in your dream indicates the masculine aspect of yourself – the side that is assertive, rational, aggressive, and/or competitive.  If the man is known to you, then the dream may reflect your feelings and concerns you have about him.  It may also highlight your desires to be in a relationship and your image of the ideal man. Seeing your own reflection in the mirror, suggests that you are pondering thoughts about your inner self.  The reflection in the mirror is how you perceive yourself or how you want others to see you.  You may be contemplating on strengthening and changing aspects of your character.

House:  A symbol for security.  A new house foreshadows financial security

Bag:  This symbol’s significance depends greatly on the other symbols in the dream.  A full or heavy bag indicates financial success, and a large full bag implies the attainment of some of your more cherished dreams.

Astrological parallel: Cancer, the Moon.

White:  Purity. Success well earned.

Green:  Peace. Tranquility. The Earth. Money. A journey. Good news.

Beauty:  Beauty of any kind—scenery, art works, gardens, women and young men—is always a positive omen of happy times ahead.

Face:  A symbol dependent on the circumstances of the dream. If you see a happy, smiling face, then pleasures and good times lie ahead.

Astrological parallel: Taurus.

I had a dream on Sept 29thI heard a cork pop off from a champagne bottle.

Seeing cork in your dream represents your versatility and adaptability in different situations. You have the ability to stay afloat in times of turmoil and rise above your circumstances.  Dreaming that something bursts indicates that you are under a lot of pressure and stress.

Champagne:  A universal symbol for celebration. If you are drinking champagne, clinking glasses and laughing and talking with other people, great good fortune lies ahead.

I had a dream on Sept 29th:   I went to visit a college/university with my mother (She wasn’t my actual mother).  After speaking with about three University officials, we went to a concert on campus.  Later, I went to buy a used car and was test driving it in the parking lot (driving in circles) as the owner watched.  I then veered off to pass by a liquor store that was being robbed.  Later, I was walking down the alley behind the same liquor store and was approach by a man who tried to take my purse.  I yelled, “back off” and fought with him (I kept my purse).  The dream ended.

A dream that takes place in school may be a metaphor for the lessons that you are learning from your waking life.  Seeing your mother in your dream represents the nurturing aspect of your own character.  Mothers offer shelter, comfort, life, guidance and protection.  Dreaming that you are at a concert represents harmony and cooperation in a situation or relationship of your waking life.  You are experiencing uplift in your spirits.  If you are driving on a curvy road, then it indicates that you are having difficulties in achieving your goals and the changes associated with it.  Seeing a circle in your dream, foretells that you will have fabulous luck in securing your fortune and happiness.  The circle symbolizes perfection, completeness and wholeness.  On a less positive note, it may also mean that you are going around in circles in a particular situation.  Seeing an imperfect circle in your dream means that you will face many obstacles and setbacks in achieving your goals. In the end, you will overcome these obstacles and you will find that your struggle was well worth it.  Seeing a circle with a cross, symbolizes earth.  It may also serve as guidance toward the center and self-orientation (I was driving in circles).  Dreaming of grocery or convenience store, suggests that you are emotionally and mentally strained.  Alternatively, you may be brainstorming for new ideas or looking for the various choices out there for you.  Dreaming that you have been robbed indicates that you are experiencing an identity crisis or you are suffering some sort of loss in your life.  Alternatively, you may feel that someone has stolen your success or has taken credit for something you did.  Dreaming that you are screaming, symbolizes anger and fear. It is an expression of your powerful emotions which you have kept pent up inside.  If you dream that you repel your attacker then you will meet with success in your current endeavor.

1. Motion, movement away from one thing and towards another.

2. Speed, acceleration.

3. Freedom.

Astrological parallel: Sagittarius.

1. The need or desire to throw all the dreamer’s energy into a particular goal.

2. The feeling of having no choice as to how to proceed in a given situation—in short, of being “driven.” If the dreamer is not the drive, he should consider who is doing it.

Astrological parallels: Aries, Capricorn.

Circle or Ring (I was driving in circles until I veered off to pass by the liquor store):

1. If the dreamer just sees a series of circles, then he needs to take a good long look at his life. He may feel as if he is “going around in circles.” Breaking a circle indicates getting out of a rut very soon.

Astrological parallel:  The entire belt of the Zodiac.

Robber, Robbery:

1. If the dreamer is concerned about safety, security, and financial affairs, this dream could reflect those fears. Whether the fear—that someone in some way is going to rip you off—is real or not depends on the circumstances and other symbols in the dream.2. If the dreamer is looking for love, this could represent a warning: The dreamer could meet and fall for someone fascinating, but who has an agenda of his or her own and could end up breaking the dreamer’s heart.

Yelling, Shouting:

1. If the dreamer is shouting to someone, it represents a desperate need to reach that person. If the “someone” is unknown to the dreamer, the dreamer needs to seek information from someone as yet unknown—as phoning up a librarian to find out if the library has a certain book.

2. If someone is shouting at the dreamer, if the dreamer knows that person, then he has been shutting out vital communications from that person. If the shouter is unknown to the dreamer, then there is information that the dreamer needs to seek out.

Astrological parallels: Mercury, Mars.

1. If you are fighting with an unknown figure, whether it’s an argument or an out-and-out fistfight, or if you’re participating in a free-for-all, this is a loud and clear message that major changes are on the way. Considering the dreamer’s circumstances as well as other symbols in the dream will reveal the nature of the change, and/or what the dreamer needs to do in order to face it.

2. Standing on the sidelines and watching other people fight indicates that the troubles of others may spill over into your life.
