Wow, good point but I always thought we got served more food back then than now. Maybe I am getting confused with the size portion and calories count that is being compared.
We’ve been getting way more food per serving in the recent past. We didn’t start getting the oversized cookies, muffins, bagels, donuts, etc.. until the mid to late eighties. After that everything was supersized (oversized) and all you can eat. Just think, all that extra food we’ve been stuffing down our throats could have been shared with those who need more food. Now, were known as the fattest people on earth.
